UK- Linda Clark is to head a new specialist unit launched by the consulting actuaries Punter Southall and dedicated to retirement planning for senior executives. Clark joins Punter Southall after eighteen years as a consultant with Hymans Robertson.
The new unit builds on Punter Southall’s existing administrative, actuarial and consultancy work on self invested personal pensions (SIPPs) and small self administered schemes (SSASs). Investment services will be provided by the group’s financial management arm PSFM.
Says Clark: “by running a joint unit we can advise clients who wish to make best use of the advantages of SIPPs and SSASs, since our team has extensive expertise in both areas. We can therefore deliver the same in-depth knowledge available elsewhere but with added flexibility, given out comparative size and higher levels of personal service.”
