UK – Independent investment management company, Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) has a new chief investment officer, Andrew Carter.

Carter will be responsible for overseeing the company’s investment strategy for its entire £25.8bn (€45.9bn) funds under management total, which includes both institutional and retail elements.

Carter joins from Gartmore Investment Management, where he was head of UK equities and a member of the investment committee. Overall he has over 20 years experience in the financial services industry.
