**Russell poaches two new consultants from Towers Perrin**
UK – Frank Russell Company (Russell) has poached two new consultants from rivals Towers Perrin for its institutional investment services team in London.
Ian Barnes and Sorca Kelly join as consultants to provide advice to Russell’s UK and European clients on investment strategy.
Both will join Bob Collie’s consulting group at Russell. Says Collie: “Ian has increasingly become recognised in the industry as an outstanding consultant and Sorca’s expertise, especially in asset liability modelling, is highly regarded.”
**Pictet takes on award winning European manager**
UK/SWITZERLAND– Geneva based Pictet & Cie has appointed Jeff Currington, recently voted Investment Week European Fund Manager of the Year 2001, to its European equities team in London.
Currington has 20 years experience in the investment management area and joins from Morley where he was head of European equities.
**GFA appoints Tikku as senior analyst**
UK – Investment consultancy firm, Global Fund Analysis (GFA), has taken on Sanjay Tikku as a senior analyst in London.
Tikku joins GFA, having amassed over ten years experience in financial modelling, risk analysis and analytical software development. His most recent appointment was with Morgan Stanley in London and New York working with equities.
