UK - Michael Dobson has been appointed as a non-executive director on the board of UK investment manager Schroders.
Dobson is currently executive chairman of Beaumont Capital Management, a member of the advisory board of Deutsche Bank and a non-executive director of various other companies.

“The board are delighted that Michael Dobson has agreed to join us as a non-executive director. His many years’ experience in asset management, together with his knowledge of financial markets, will bring considerable value to us,” says Peter Sedgwick, chairman of Schroders.

Previously Dobson was a member of the board of managing directors of Deutsche Bank from 1996-2000, with specific responsibility for Deutsche Asset Management from 1998-2000.
Prior to his work at Deutsche, Dobson held several different posts at Morgan Grenfell.
