UK – SEI Investments has expanded its institutional team with the creation of three new roles, including a new appointment.
Andrew Slater, previously a senior analyst with SEI’s investment management team, has been promoted to director if institutional strategy. In the new role, he will be responsible for developing the strategic research carried out by SEI in the US, UK, Canada and Europe.
Deborah Kerr has been appointed as enterprise solutions manager. She joins form Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch where was marketing manager, responsible for marketing support and communications. Prior to that, Kerr was head of marketing for Investec Investment Management Services. In her new role she will developing products and solutions for the institutional market.
Anne McDowell has also been promoted to UK marketing manager working across all SEI’s European business units.
The decision to expand the team is a result of an increase in institutional business. Said Patrick Disney, managing director and head of institutional business development at SEI: “More and more companies are beginning to realise the benefits that a manager of managers solution can offer, and these new appointments will help us build on this to increase SEI’s presence in the market.”
SEI administers 236 billion dollars in mutual fund and pooled assets, manages over 85 billion dollars in assets and process almost 50 trillion dollars of investment transactions annually.
