UK/EUROPE - Russell/Mellon Analytical Services has appointed Fred Settelmeyer as managing director for Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

During the past two years, Settelmeyer has been deputy managing director of Mellon Trust's Global Security Services in London.

For 10 years, he also headed up Mellon's Investment Research and Technology Group.
