UK – Singer & Friedlander Investment Management (SFIM) has won a mandate to run the £135m (€216m) continental European equity mandate portion of J Rothschild Assurance UK (JRA) Life and Pension Funds, part of the St James’s Place Group.
The mandate, won from incumbent Crédit Suisse Asset Management (CSAM), is to be tracked against the FT/S&P World Europe ex UK Total Return index, with the brief to outperform by at least 2% per annum on a rolling three year basis.
The win comes as part of St James’s Place Group’s three monthly investment review undertaken with consultancy firm, Stamford Associates.
As part of the previous review Cazenove was replaced for various UK equity, UK income, and on and offshore managed funds by Invesco Perpetual, with Aberdeen Asset Managers taking over the Far East funds and Invesco National Asset Management the US funds.
The previously Cazenove managed fixed interest funds went to Deutsche Asset Management.
Invesco Perpetual also replaced Newton for a range of income funds.
St James’s Place’s manager roster also includes Schroders, Henderson Global Investors, Global Asset Management, Taube Hodson Stonex & Partners, Barclays Global Investors, Investec and Société Générale Asset Management.
