GLOBAL - Société Générale has named Sébastien Danloy as global head of sales for investor services at its securities services arm.

He joins from BNP Paribas Securities Services and reports to Etienne Deniau, deputy head of investor services at SG Global Securities Services for Investors.

"This recruitment is a reflection of the growth of our activity," said Bruno Prigent, head of investors' securities services.

"We are convinced that Sébastien Danloy's experience and his wide knowledge of the industry will assist us in responding efficiently to the growing needs of our clients and prospects."

It said that Danloy, 35, spent seven years at State Street before joining BNP Paribas in 2001.
