**Standard Life expands fixed income and equity teams**
UK – Standard Life Investments has appointed four new investment directors with various roles to its Edinburgh based fixed income and equity teams.
Jonathan Gibbs will be managing a £2bn (€3.3bn) index-linked portfolio. He joins from Henderson AMP where he was a divisional director and a member of the global interest rate team.
Gregor MacIntosh will be responsible for managing euro denominated assets, especially government bonds. He joins from Edinburgh fund managers where he was second in command of the bond team.
Craig MacDonald will start off as a specialist credit analyst for fixed income but will become involved in fund management at a later stage. He joins from Standard & Poor’s where he was a director.
Mark Niznik will manage smaller companies funds within the pensions division. He joins from Perpetual, where he was a fund manager for nine years.
**Old Mutual appoints non-executive director**
UK – Old Mutual has appointed Rudi Bogni as a non-executive member of its management board.
Bogni joins from UBS where he was chief executive of private banking. Prior to that he was CEO of Swiss Bank Corporation in London.
** Govett takes on new analyst**
UK – Govett Investments has appointed Philip Davies as an investment analyst.
Davies, who joins from HSBC where he was an associate director, will focus mainly on closed-end funds and will assist in the management of investment trust portfolios within various Govett managed funds.
