UK - Standard Life Investments has launched a range of manager-of-managers pension funds in conjunction with Wilshire Associates.

It said they would be available via Standard Life Investments' Trustee Investment Plan and Personal Pension Investment Plan contracts.

"They will provide advisers, consultants and clients with greater investment choice, quality service and value for money," said George Walker, the group's head of UK institutional business.

Wilshire will select managers to form blended portfolios for the underlying assets classes, with the exception of property and cash, which will be managed by Standard Life.

Standard Life said the funds would enable advisers and consultants "to tailor the asset mix of clients in line with their risk requirements, while allowing them to outsource the manager research, selection and monitoring to Wilshire Associates".
