LUXEMBOURG - State Street Corp. has named Jim Clark as sales and marketing director in Luxembourg.

"Clark joins State Street from International Financial Data Services, where he served as director of European business development based in Luxembourg," the bank said.

Clark replaces Thierry Logier, who joined Euroclear in December as head of product management, investment funds.

"Clark will lead business development efforts for State Street's transfer agency and fund administration services in Luxembourg and build upon revenue growth across all product lines," it added.

"Jim's depth of marketing and sales experience, combined with his knowledge of the financial services industry in Europe, will be invaluable to our team," said Timothy Caverly, executive vice president of State Street's investor services business in Continental Europe.

"As State Street expands upon its fund administration and transfer agency services, Jim will play an important role in maintaining and enhancing our position as one of the leading investment services providers in Luxembourg."
