UK- State Street Corporation has appointed Paul Chapman to serve as head of relationship management and strategic marketing for its UK operation.

Chapman joins from the Pershing division of Credit Suisse First Boston where he served as director of international sales, business development and relationship management for Europe.

Chapman will report to Jeff Conway, senior vice president of State Street’s Investor Services business in the UK.

While at CSFB, Mr. Chapman was responsible for building Pershing’s pan-European business. His duties included cross-selling US products into the UK and Europe, selling UK products into Europe and developing new products.

Prior to CSFB, he spent 11 years at Brown Brothers Harriman in London where he was head of investor services.

State Street has $6.3trn in assets under custody and $808 billion in assets under management.
