UK – Merrill Lynch’s institutional liquidity funds have been made available via State Street’s online service, Fund Connect.

The service offers investors access to multi currency money market and cash funds, as well as investment funds.

Fund Connect is available through State Street’s Global Link network.

Colleen McDermott, head of Merrill Lynch liquidity funds, says: “ As the use of liquidity funds in Europe grows, Fund Connect offers an excellent distribution channel for our funds.”

Steve Smit, managing director of Global Link Europe comments that the move reflects State Street’s commitment to facilitate online investing into a range of funds from leading investment managers.
