STOXX has made a raft of appointments to its regional marketing and sales team. Kevin Pilarski has been appointed regional director for the Americas and Jon Winslade regional director for the Netherlands and the UK.
Roger Bootz joins as manager for Austria, Germany, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland; Rosa Anna Grimaldi will be the new manager for Belgium, France, Greece and Italy, while Donna Moloney will be manager for Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Norway and Sweden.
** Carnwath joins Friends **
Alison Carnwath has been appointed to the board of directors at Friends Ivory & Sime Private Equity. She will also join its operating and investment committees.
Carnwath previously worked as managing director at Donald Lufkin Jenrette (DLJ) as well as a director of DLJ Phoenix Private Equity.
** Aon appoints to pensions admin team **
Aon Consulting has made a number of senior appointments to its UK pension administration team. John Reeve, joins as managing director of pension administration and Mark Chadwick, moving from Opus Consulting, joins as pensions manager.
Janet McMorrow, joining from Paymaster, will concentrate on hybrid schemes, combining defined benefit and defined contribution.

Eoin Murray has joined the sales and marketing team of Deutsche Asset Management as director of passive and quantitative products, focusing on Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Murray moves from First Quadrant, where he was a senior portfolio manager.
** New start ups at AMJPE **
Aberdeen Murray Johnstone Private Equity has appointed Craig McDermid as investment director and Judith MacKenzie as investment manager to its Glasgow team. McDermid joins from Ernst & Young and MacKenzie from Bell Lawrie White.
** Henderson communicates Houghton appointment **
Dawn Houghton has joined Henderson Global Investors as director of institutional client communications. Houghton moves from Threadneedle Asset Management, where she was head of marketing.
** SWIP swipes Quantrill **
Gareth Quantrill has been appointed as fixed income fund manager for Scottish Widows Investment Partnership. Quantrill, formerly an investment manager at Morley Fund Management, will be responsible for researching global corporate bonds and fund management.
** GAM lures Abate **
James Abate has been recruited as portfolio manager for Global Asset Management. Abate, joining from Credit Suisse Asset Management, will be based in New York and will manage large-cap North American equity portfolios for retail and institutional clients.
** World Bank loses Hook to Thomas Murray **
Andrew Hook joins Thomas Murray as director for the Americas, based in Washington. He joins from the World Bank, where he was a member of the financial sector development department, concentrating on western hemisphere securities and payments.
** Johnson seeks the high life at Investec **
Christine Johnson has been appointed as a high-yield analyst at Investec Asset Management. She joins from Royal and Sun Alliance Investment.
