NETHERLANDS- Karel Stroobants has joined the business advisory board of FundPartners, the Dutch investment fund company. FundPartners, based in Laren, designs and builds investment funds and fund structures on behalf of pension funds, private banks and asset managers throughout Europe.

Until the end of last year, Stroobants was chairman of the board of Voorzorgskas voor Geneesheren (VKG), the Belgian pension fund for doctors, dentists and pharmacists. Prior to this, Stroobants was member of the managing board of the Belgian bank-insurer Argenta.

Stroobants is also president of the Belgian Association of Pension funds and sits on the boards of numerous funds. He is a member of the advisory council of Agiora the Belgian metal industry fund, and is an independent board member at Finaxis.
