SWEDEN – The Second Swedish National Pension Fund AP2 has appointed Petter Odhnoff as chief investment officer (CIO) and Lennart Jonsson as head of communications, meaning all executive positions for the fund have now been filled.

The company plans to appoint ten or so more members of staff during the autumn to complete its staff roster of 35.

Odhnoff, who has been acting CIO at AP2, joins from Deloitte and Touche where he was head of investment consulting activities. He has also worked as CIO for Sparbanken Sverige.

Jonsson was previously a partner at Carta Booz, Allen & Hamilton and has been working as a consultant in helping establish the AP2 fund since the beginning of the year.



**AXA appoint new head of equities**
UK – Axa Investment Managers (Axa IM) has appointed Richard Seamark as global head of equity trading in its London office.

Seamark previously worked at UBS Asset Management, where he spent fifteen years. Most recently he was head of equity dealing.

The move comes as part of Axa IM’s centralising its equity dealings in London.



**Hamilton joins MLIM as credit analyst**
UK – Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM) has appointed Bruce Hamilton as a credit research analyst to its London based fixed income team.

Hamilton joins from Fitch, where he spent five years heading up the consumer division.
