A Swiss pension fund has launched a tender for a $150m (€135.8m) emerging markets mandate via IPE Quest.
Search QN-2315 is for a core, active manager for global emerging market equities.
Providers bidding for the mandate should have at least $500m of assets already in the strategy.
The minimum track record is five years, and managers should state performance up to 30 April 2017 on a net of fees basis.
The benchmark for the mandate is the MSCI Emerging Markets index.
In addition, the asset owner said it would prefer “a bottom-up portfolio construction process”.
“We prefer an investment universe comprised of countries included in major emerging markets benchmark indices,” it added, “ideally no exposure to companies domiciled in developed markets.”
