EUROPE - International consultants Towers Perrin has announced seven new principals to its European consulting practice. Four of these are in the UK, two in France and one each in Germany and Italy.
The new principals ‘ expertise cover a range of human resources and benefits financial management, including actuarial and investment consulting.
In the UK three of the four promotions are from the retirement consulting group:
Philip Baker who specialises in advising corporate managements on pension risks;
Richard Gunton, specialising in the design and implementation of employee benefit arrangements;
Steve Presnell leads a team of consultants and advides UK pension trustees,
Margaret Ruiseal works in the change managem,ent practice.
On the continent, Philippe Burger has been appointed in France in the retirement area, where Frederique Chenevier has been made principal in the communications practice.
Petra Knab Haegele has been made a principal in Germany in the area of executive communication. In Italy, Lella Casani becomes a principal in the RPM practice.
There are two appointments announced in the insurance consulting arm Tillinghast Towers Perrin, Michel Laparra in France and Christopher Fordham in the UK.
These 11 announcements in Europe are part of the firm-wide promotion of 77 senior consultants to principal status. A spokesman welcoming the announcement of the new appointees says that each has made a significant contribution to the firm’s development. Worldwide, Towers Perrin has over 9,000 employees in 78 offices.
