UK – Towers Perrin has added to its global consulting group with the appointment of Gavin Watkins.

Watkins joins Towers Perrin from consultant NSP Buck in Australia where he held the position of client services executive and was responsible for managing the actuarial, consulting, administration and accounting lines of business. Previously, he held senior human resource operational roles at William M Mercer, and Sedgwick Noble Lowndes.

At Towers Perrin, Watkins will be responsible for the ongoing management and fulfilment of the global consulting group projects and clients. He will be based in London and reports to Nigel Bateman, principal of Towers Perrin’s Global Consulting Group.

Bateman said Watkins “brings a wealth of experience of helping multinationals manage their pensions and benefits.”

Towers Perrin employs around 500 staff in London.
