UK – UBS Global Asset Management has hired Howard Nowell from KPMG as director of institution corporate marketing in the UK.
“Howard will focus on marketing our global investment capabilities to corporate pension funds in the UK,” UBS said in a statement.
He will report to Nigel Taylor, head of UK institutional business. He joins from KPMG where he ran sales and marketing at its People Services Division.
“We are very pleased that Howard has joined us, bringing a great deal of experience in direct marketing,” Taylor said. “He will focus on developing corporate prospects and conveying our philosophy and capabilities to this important segment of the market.”
Last month UBS Global Asset Management named Michael Strobaek as head of its European institutional business in Europe outside Switzerland. He took over from Christof Kutscher, who is moving to Hong Kong.
