UK – London based global equity management group, Axa Rosenberg Investment Management, has appointed Stephen Millar as new head of UK sales. Millar has a specific mandate to bring in new institutional clients.

The appointment is in response to growing demand for services from Axa Rosenberg’s continental European clients and its recent recruitment drive in London to expand its European capabilities.

Hamish Gowen, who previously ran both UK and Europe sales, is now free to concentrate on continental Europe.

Millar joins Axa Rosenberg from Schroders, where he worked for six years, most recently as an associate director in sales, marketing and business development.

Millar’s is the second salesman to be appointed by Axa Rosenberg from Schroders in recent months. Bill Barnes recently joined the company’s California office to head the institutional sales team there.

Axa Rosenberg currently manages some £9bn (€14bn) in assets worldwide.
