BENELUX – Brussels based INVESCO Benelux has appointed Yves Van Langenhove of Fortis Investment Management to become the firm’s deputy CEO with responsibility for institutional sales and client servicing in Belgium and Holland.

Van Langenhove leaves his present position as executive director with Fortis in Brussels tomorrow, before starting with Invesco on Monday.

“ I will be doing the same thing as I was with Fortis, being busy with the institutional clients, not only in Belgium though but also in Holland for sales and client servicing.”

Explaining the move, he notes:“ I was looking for a new challenge and INVESCO is a top world player with a multi-style approach that attracts me a lot and there is space for entrepreneurship.”

Van Langenhove will reports to Pierre-Yves Goemans, CEO at INVESCO Benelux.
