EUROPE - Kees van Rees will remain chairman of the European Federation for Retirement Provision (EFRP) until at least October 2001, after he was elected to remain in his current position at the EFRP's annual conference meeting of members in October.
Alan Pickering, chairman of the UK National Association of Pension Funds (NAPF), was appointed as first vice chairman, where he will replace incumbent Ray Martin.
Ulrika Jurgens of Germany becomes second vice president to the EFRP.
The EFRP has also been newly incorporated as an international organisation with a scientific purpose under Belgian law.
