UK – Pensions technology provider Watson Wyatt Systems has rebranded to become Aquila Group Holdings and will in the future trade as ‘aquila’.
The name change severs the last remaining link with Watson Wyatt Worldwide, the previous owner of PMS 6000, the leading pensions administration system.
Since its formation three years ago, aquila has redeveloped PMS 6000, its flagship system, which supports both the Corporate and Financial Services marketplace.
Commenting on the change Finlay Ross, Joint Chief Executive, said:
" We have reached a stage in our development which requires us to have a clear, unambiguous identity. The change to aquila marks a milestone in our progression from a captive systems developer to an independent software house serving our chosen marketplace."
The change of name coincides with PMS’s re-launch into the corporate marketplace.
PMS 6000 is a fully integrated system that supports the lifecycle of life and pensions administrations. The system design allows it to be customized to suit the needs of the individual client both for the back office and for delivery of services over the internet.
