Bridge Pointe - Lee Launer has left his role as chief investment officer at MetLife to become CIO of Bridge Pointe LLC, the holding company for buy-in and buyout company Bridge Pointe Insurance Ltd.
Equitable Life - Ian Brimecome is to be become the new chairman when Vanni Treves retires from the role later this year. Brimecome was appointed to the board as non-executive director in 2001. He will take over when Treves, who has been chair since 2001, steps down on the appointment of a new chief executive to replace Charles Thomson.
Ircantec - Jean-Paul Thivolie has been elected as president of the board of trustees to the French compulsory supplementary pension scheme. He sits on the board as representative to trade-union organisation CFE-CGC and succeeds Marie-Claude Kervella who held the post for two terms. Vincent Soetemont is currently an administrator at the economic, industry and employment ministry, and has been voted as vice president.
Aviva Investors - John Gellatly will lead the multi-manager real estate business in Europe. He was previously managing director and head of real estate fund of funds at BlackRock.
Citi Global Transaction Services - Jervis Smith has been named as the firm's global head of client executive within securities and fund services while Richard Ernesti is now global head of investor services, client and sales management. Both will be based in London.
SEB - Jan Sinclair has promoted to country manager in Germany from 16 May, having previously worked as head of the firm's German merchant banking division.
American Century Investments - Tom Douie has been appointed as vice president to its London office, targeting institutional investors across UK, Europe and the Middle East. Having previously been executive director and head of European third-party distribution at Lehman Brothers Asset Management, he will report to Michael Green, senior vice president of the firm's international operation.
