JP Morgan Asset Management – Paul Farrell has been named head of UK institutional clients, joining from Dimensional Fund Advisors. He previously worked at Barclays Global Investors.

Universities Superannuation Scheme – Tony Owens and Jane Hutton have joined as non-executive director of USS Investment Management and a member of the scheme’s trustee board, respectively. Owens has worked for Scottish Widows and Aberdeen Asset Management in the past, while Hutton is currently a professor of medical statistics at the University of Warwick.

RPMI Railpen – Sweta Chattopadhyay and Matthias Eifert have joined the manager responsible for the UK Railway Pension Scheme. Chattopadhyay joins the private markets team as senior investment manager, while Eifert is investment manager in charge of fundamental equity analysis.

State Street Global Advisors – Bernhard Wegner has joined as head of SSgA’s Swiss ETF business. Wegner will be responsible for the business development of SPDR ETF in the country, based in Zurich. He was previously ETF Security’s head of distribution and has also worked at Morgan Stanley, HSBC and BNP Paribas.

NN Investment Partners – Dominik Remy has joined the Dutch asset manager’s German business as asset-liability management adviser. Based in Frankfurt, Remy joins from Metafinanz, an IT group owned by Allianz Group.

Nikko Asset Management – Raphael Marechal has been named senior portfolio manager within the global emerging market team. Based in London, Marechal joins from BlackRock, where he was a senior member of its emerging market team. He previously worked for BNP Paribas Investment Partners and Fortis Investments.

Erste Asset Management – Winfred Buchbauer has joined the board of the Austrian asset manager, in charge of risk management. He was previously the asset manager’s head of legal and HR. He also sits on the board of Erste subsidiary Ringturm.

Aon – Tony Britton has joined as head of DC delegated sales. Britton was most recently head of employer relationships at Scottish Widows, where he spent 14 years. Prior to this, he worked at Friends Provident.
