Fortis Investment Management - Olivier Lafont is replacing Peter de Proft as local chief executive officer for Fortis Investment Management in Belgium. De Proft, who left Fortis yesterday, will move to the Brussels-based European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) in October.
Mercer Investment Consulting - PGGM's Marjolein Sol will replace Frans Ballendux as business leader of Mercer Investment Consulting in the Netherlands, "in anticipation of his retirement in a few years time", the company has announced. Ballendux will remain working at Mercer.
Northern Trust - Allan Watson has been appointed to the newly-created role of head of derivative operations for Europe Middle East and Africa. Based in London, he joins from the Bank of America.
EDHEC - Stéphane Grégoir, former director of the Economics and Statistics Research Centre (CREST), has started as director of EDHEC's economics research centre. He succeeds Noël Amenc, who served as interim director of the EDHEC risk and asset management research centre.
The Pensions Board - Actuary Pat O'Sullivan has started at the Irish Board's technical services & research unit. He joins from Mercer.
Corgwell - Deloitte consultant Teun Sluijters joins Corgwell CPI Governance from next month as a partner. He will also focus on public governance.
LaSalle Investment Management - Philip Ling, most recently chief executive of investment management for Lend Lease in Australia, has joined LaSalle as managing director in Asia Pacific. He is based in Singapore.
Riverstone - Lord Browne of Madingley, the former chief executive of BP, has joined the private equity firm as a managing director and managing partner. Riverstone will open a London office where Lord Browne will be based.
Threadneedle Investments - Susan Cross has replaced Dennis Tumbült as marketing director. Tumbült left the investment manager in May. Based in London, Cross was previously employed at GAM where she was head of marketing.
