GLOBAL - TPR, NTGI, Lehman Brothers, Union Investment, Watson Wyatt, SWIP, Mercer, Schroders, BlackRock, Edhec.
The Pensions Regulator - Charlie Massey, executive director for strategic development, is leaving the regulatory body to return to the Department for Work and Pensions, and take on the role of capability director. Chris Dobson, currently director of corporate development at the Personal Accounts Delivery Authority, is joining the regulator as an interim replacement with immediate effect on a six-month secondment.
Northern Trust - London-based Biff Bowman (pictured right), executive vice-president and head of client servicing for the EMEA institutional investor group, will replace Stephen Potter as the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region executive. Potter has been promoted to president of Northern Trust Global Investments (NTGI), based in Chicago. Teresa Parker, executive vice-president and chief operating officer for EMEA, will succeed Bowman.
Lehman Brothers - UBS' Mark Bourgeois will join Eric Johnson as managing director and co-head of global institutional distribution, with a specific focus on alternative products. Johnson focuses on traditional products at Lehman Brothers.
Union Investment - Janus Capital International's Thomas Fleck has been appointed managing director of Union Investment Institutional GmbH, a new role within the company. He will be responsible for business development and relationship management with institutional investors outside the German co-operative sector. In his new role he will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with national and international investment consultants.
Watson Wyatt - Paul Enderby, David Saunders and Hayley Ellison have joined the defined contribution (DC) consulting team in the Bristol office. Senior consultant Enderby has transferred from London to head up the Bristol DC team. Saunders joins from SBJ consulting and Ellison came from Xafinity.
Scottish Widows Investment Partnership - Guy Skinner has left Morley Fund Management to join SWIP's global bonds and economics team as investment director of government bonds.
Mercer - Ian Woodall, a senior consultant, has left Mercer to launch his own firm: Lonkal Consulting Limited. Lonkal is a business and management consulting firm specialising in administrative operations around treasury, banking and pension funds.
Schroders - Christoffer Sundberg, has joined the firm as head of Nordic fund management at its property business in Sweden. He previously worked at Aberdeen Property Investors.
BlackRock - Schroders' David Lomas (pictured right), has been appointed as a managing director, to lead the European Financial Institutions team. He is based in London.
Edhec - Arjuna Sittampalam, managing director of investment company Sage & Hermes, has been appointed as a research associate at the Edhec Risk and Asset Management Research Centre. Sittampalam's experience encompasses the banking, insurance and specialist fund management fields, with a particular knowledge in derivatives and other innovative portfolio management techniques.
