Santander Asset Management - Jeff Scott has been appointed chief executive officer of Santander Asset Management UK as part of a planned succession. Scott moves from his role as marketing director, replacing Ignacio Izquierdo, who is returning to Spain to take a senior role in Santander's branch network.
BNY Mellon Asset Management - Franklin Templeton's Catherine Doyle has been appointed as deputy head of pooled funds and defined contribution (DC) in London. The appointment is a newly-created position.
Architas Multi-Manager - Colin Taylor has been appointed deputy chief investment officer of the newly-formed multi-manager investment company. He had been acting as interim CIO for Architas until the arrival of Richard Philbin on September 1. Skandia Investment Management's Emma Seager joins as head of broker desk, and David Blackshire and Joanna Luly, both from AXA Investment Managers, will assume roles as fund accounting services managers.
Kempen Capital Management - Maarten Roest, previously responsible for sales and service within the fiduciary management offering at ABN Amro Asset Management which is currently being integrated into Fortis Investments, started earlier this month at Kempen Capital Management.
Aon Consulting - Mercer's head of international Mark Sullivan, has been appointed as practice leader for global benefits in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) to drive continued growth in the global benefits arena.
Alliance Trust - Kempen Capital Management's Fiona MacRae is the new head of European equities.
Alexander Forbes Financial Services - Jarrod Parker has been promoted to become employee benefits director, a newly-created role. He previously served as development manager.
Watson Wyatt - Michel Meert has joined the investment practice as a senior investment consultant in the Amstelveen office. He previously worked at KBL European Private Bankers, a subsidiary of KBC Group.
Optimal Investment Services - Dara Bahadori has been promoted to head of global business development, replacing Toby Gauvain, who has left the firm to concentrate on a project in the educational sector.
