GLOBAL - Sampo, Mn Services, Insight Investments, Neptune, SLI, BNY Mellon Asset Management, BlackRock, Aon, MCM, Fortis, Schroders, IOPS, Punter Southall.

Sampo - Deputy chief executive (CEO) Kari Stadigh has been nominated to become group CEO and president of Sampo Group, succeeding Björn Wahlroos in April next year. Wahlroos is set to become chairman of the board.

Mn Services - Hein Brans, former head of investments of the Dutch corporate pension scheme of Stork, has been named as head of capital markets with Mn Services' asset management team.

Insight Investments - Patrick Armstrong and Ana Cukic-Armstrong, co-heads of asset manager Insight Investments' multi-manager team, are set to leave the company as a result of "restructuring". They will be replaced by Michael Pinggera, currently managing the Credit Suisse managed assets retail fund, who will join in January.

Neptune Investment Management - Richard Green has been promoted to deputy managing director, having joined the board six months ago as corporate development director six months ago from Barclays Wealth.

Standard Life Investments - Virginia Holmes has been appointed as a non-executive director. She holds a number of directorships and was previously chief executive of AXA Investment Managers in the UK. Earlier this year, she was appointed director of the Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo).

BNY Mellon Asset Management - Thomas Connolly has left Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) to become managing director and head of asset management for the Middle East region, based in Dubai.

BlackRock - Huw Williams is now managing director in the strategic advice services team in London. He previously worked at UBS.

Aon UK - Jim Herbert has joined from Heath Lambert as regional director for the central region, developing the local teams in Aon's Birmingham, Leicester and Manchester offices.

Mulvaney Capital Management - Alistair McNaughton has been appointed chief legal officer; prior to joining MCM he deputy head of legal at Threadneedle.

Fortis - Camille Fohl and Lex Kloosterman have stepped down from the executive committee at the end of October. Fohl will remain member of the executive board of directors of Fortis Bank.
 
Schroders - Manish Bhatia has benn appointed senior fund manager for Asia (ex. Japan) in the Hongkong team. He previously worked in China for Manulife Asset Management.

Punter Southall - Alan Wilkes and Neil Lalley have been promoted to the position of principal for the Wokingham and Guildford offices respectively.
