GLOBAL - PPF, PADA, BNP Paribas, Gartmore, Mercer, Morgan Stanley, CAAM RE, Rownmoor Pensions, SNS Reaal, Alta Fides, CBRE, Cordea Savills

Pension Protection Fund (PPF) - David Heslop has been appointed chief operating officer (COO) and a member of the PPF Board. He will Derek Cribb who has been interim COO for almost 18 months, and head up the PPF's finance, legal, human resources, IT, organisational and pension protection levy administration functions.

PADA - Helen Dean has been appointed as policy and product development director at the Personal Accounts Delivery Authority and joined its board.

BNP Paribas - Jacques d'Estais, current head of corporate and investment banking (CIB) will swap places with Alan Papiasse, current head of asset management services (AMS), on 31 March.

Gartmore - John Anderson will join the firm's fixed income team as head of credit later this year. He will join from Rensburg Fund Management, where he managed the corporate bond trust for nine years.

Mercer - Claire Ross, previously head of client and project management at Watson Wyatt, has been appointed head of service implementation and member of the outsourcing executive team. Andy White has also joined from Standard Life as programme manager for service implementation.

Morgan Stanley - Richard Surrency joined as head of transition management for Asia Pacific in January from Bank of New York Mellon, where he was head of sales for Asia.

Crédit Agricole Asset Management Real Estate (CAAM RE) - Nicolas Simon has been appointed chief executive officer (CEO) following Patrick de Lataillade's decision to retire from the role. Nicolas Kert, currently head of asset and portfolio management of the company's property funds, will take over Simon's role as chief investment officer (CIO).

Rowanmoor Pensions - Rob Green has been appointed senior sales consultant for the national sales team and Anthony Harris has been named a regulated consultant for the Southern regional team.  Green joins from Castlestone Management and Harris from his own independent financial adviser firm.

SNS REAAL - Rob Zwartendijk, currently chairman of the supervisory board of Nutreco Holding NV, is to be nominated for the position of chairman of the SNS REAAL supervisory board at the firm's general meeting of shareholders on 15 April 2009. He resigned his chairmanship of Stichting Beheer SNS REAAL last week.

Alta Fides AG - Rudolf Bartsch has been selected for Alta Fides AG's board in Stuttgart, Germany and, among other duties, will be responsible for tproject development, real estate acquisition and portfolio properties.

CB Richard Ellis - Robert Brydone and Mikuláš Molnárfi have been promoted to associate directors for their work in leading the valuation adviser department over the past year.

Cordea Savills - Gerhard Lehner has been made responsible for managing the  European commercial fund portfolio. He joins the Munich-based investment team from KG Allgemeine Leasing GmbH&Co, where he was a senior director responsible for closed-ended funds. Piergiulio Dentice di Accadia has also been appointed portfolio manager of Cordea Savills' Italian opportunities fund II while Daniele Martignetti has been named portfolio manager for the firm's residential assets in Italy.
