GLOBAL - PGGM Investments, Hermes Fund Managers, Redington Partners, Gartmore, Ignis Asset Management, T.Rowe Price

PGGM Investments - Paul Loven is joining on 1 November to become chief finance officer. He has been a member of the board of directors of Van Lanschot since August 2005 but will soon replace René van de Kieft, CFO and COO, who becomes interim CFO at Q-Park NV on 1 September. It was announced in April that van de Kieft would leave "for personal reasons and to pursue new challenges". (See earlier IPE story: Wednesday people roundup)

Hermes Fund Managers - Jim Pettigrew, former chief executive of CMC Markets, and Kathryn Matthews, former chief investment officer of Asia Pacific (ex Japan) Fidelity International have been appointed as non-executive directors. David Davies is stepping down as non-executive director after 10 years on the board and eight years as trustee of the BT Pension Scheme.

Redington Partners - Jeremy Lee has joined as vice president in the investment consulting team. He previously worked at Swiss Re developing their longevity and risk transfer products.

Gartmore - Robert Tull is joining on 1 September as portfolio manager and analyst in Tokyo, and will report to John Stewart, head of Japanese equities. He was recently portfolio manager for KBC Alternative Investment Management in Hong Kong.

Ignis Asset Management - Vincent Ropers has joined as an investment manager on its multi-manager offering. He will be teaming up again with Simon Mungall, head of multi-manager, having previously worked with him at Maia Capital.

T.Rowe Price - Mike Della Vedova has been appointed as European high-yield analyst. Based in London, he will focus on European sub-investment grade corporate credits. He was previously a partner at Four Quarter Capital.
