GLOBAL - Ignis AM, Impax AM, Hewitt Associates, BlueCrest Capital Management, Brown Brothers Harriman, F&C IT, Pioneer Investments, MetLife Europe

Ignis Asset Management - Rob Page is leaving his current role as marketing director at Liontrust to become marketing director at Ignis in early 2010. He is better known for his time as director of marketing at New Star Asset Management. Nick Pogmore is also leaving M&G to become head of strategic alliances.

Impax Asset Management - John McDonald has joined as head of sales and marketing. He was previously head of alternative sales and marketing at New Star Asset Management.

Hewitt Associates - Chris DeMarco has joined the UK investment consulting team. He was previously managing director and head of insurance and pension solution sales at HSBC.

BlueCrest Capital Management - Steve Smith as portfolio manager for the AllBlue Fund, as well as a member of the executive board. He most recently led the global liquid alternatives team within the asset management division of Credit Suisse. His move will allow Anne Popkin to continue to head BlueCrest's New York Office, and focus her time exclusively on leading client activities in North America.

Brown Brothers Harriman - Keith Haberlin has taken responsibility for the firm's securities lending business in Europe and the Middle East.  He recently relocated to London from BBH Boston, where he was part of the global securities lending team.

F&C Investment Trust - Simon Fraser has been appointed as non-executive director and chairman designate of F&CIT plc. Fraser is a non-executive director of Barclays plc, Barclays Bank plc, Merchants Trust plc, Fidelity European Values plc and Fidelity Japanese Values plc. Mark Loveday, current chairman, will retire after the firm's AGM in May 2010, having served as chairman for the last eight years.

Pioneer Investments - Ricardo ComÌn has been appointed senior sales manager for the Spanish market. He was previously sales manager at Fidelity Investments. Marta Gonzalez de Michelena, sales representative at Pioneer Investments, has been promoted to regional marketing manager for Iberian markets. Both will report to Sophie del Campo, country head for Spain and Portugal.

MetLife Europe Limited - Andy Marks, former managing director for sales at The Hartford, is now business development director.
