GLOBAL - Inflection Point Capital Management, Mercer, Hymans Roberston, Towers Watson, Aon Consulting, Standard Life Investments, Cushman & Wakefield
Inflection Point CM - David Pitt-Watson, executive chairman of Hermes Focus Asset Management, has taken a part-time role a strategic adviser at the new sustainable asset management firm, according to Responsible Investor.com. The firm created by Matthew Kiernan, founder of Innovest, will be staffed by several former members of Innovest's research team, including research MD Andy White. James McCarthy, former CIO of Strategic Capital Solutions, will head a long-only portfolio while Ronald Ryan, founder of Ryan ALM, will take care of fixed income and Bill Taki, former president and CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald AM, will be responsible for a hedged long-short equities portfolio.
Mercer - Niall O'Sullivan has joined the Dublin team as LDI portfolio manager, to focus on the firm's LDI funds used in the UK as well as certain fixed income portfolios. He arrives from QED in Dublin where he looked after investments with banks and insurance companies. Rekha Ravichandran has also been re-hired by the firm as an implemented consulting specialist in its Leeds and Birmingham offices. She previously left to take an investment consulting role focused on fiduciary manager selection at KPMG.
Hymans Robertson - Nick Flint and Andrew Gaches have been made partners from its sister company Club Vita, a division tackling longevity management issues.
Towers Watson - Emma Hunt has left Mercer to take a post as senior investment consultant for responsible investment later this month. She previously headed the European RI and active ownership operation for Mercer and will now work at the Reigate office. Jason Pope is also joining the consultancy's Redhill office this firm as a client manager in its technology and administration solutions practice. He previously worked at Mercer as a client manager for large multi-national pension arrangements.
Aon Consulting - Mark Paul is now client relationship manager in the pension administration team, working at its Redditch office. He was previously key client director at Xafinity Paymaster.
Standard Life Investments - Matt Kence has been appointed as vice president of US Credit, based in Boston. He joined from Gannet Welsh & Kotler Investment Management.
Cushman & Wakefield - Glenn Rufrano has been named as president and CEO of the company. He will be appointed to the company's board of directors and join the firm on 22 March, based in New York. He is currently CEO of Centro Properties Group.
