GLOBAL - Allianz Pension Partners, Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, Pensions Management Institute, Threadneedle, CEIOPS, Natixis Global Associates, Dimensional Fund Advisors, RWC Partners, IPD, State Street Global Markets.

Allianz Pension Partners - Martin Katheder, previously employed by Allianz Global Investors, has been promoted to CEO of Pension Partners. He will now be responsible for the pension market on behalf of Allianz Global Investors. Katheder is replacing Tobias Pross, who is moving over to Global Investors, where he will be managing director in charge of institutional business.

Scottish Widows Investment Partnership - Ramsay Urquhart has been named finance director, after four years at Barclays Wealth. Urquhart, who holds an MA in accountancy from Aberdeen University, will report to managing director Dean Buckley.

Pensions Management Institute - Paul Couchman, current vice president and managing director, has been announced as chair of the 2012 Action Working Party. It aims to examine the impact of auto-enrolment in the UK once the National Employment Savings Trust starts its work in two years. Other members include Steven Johnston of Aon Consulting, as well as Mike Allen from the London Pension Funds Authority. 

Threadneedle - Dominik Kremer will soon join the company as European head of distribution. Kremer joins from Pioneer Investments, where he was managing director in charge of institutional investments in Italy, Germany, Austria and central eastern Europe.

CEIOPS - Bill Galvin of the UK Pension Regulator and Damian Jaworski have been elected to the managing board of CEIOPS. Additionally, Joanne Kellermann, who has been serving as vice-chair since October last year, was confirmed in her role and will serve an additional year.

Natixis Global Associates - Euan MacLaren and Katie Lam have joined as director of UK institutional business and consultant relationship analyst, respectively. MacLaren has previously worked for Ignis Asset Management and DIAM International, while Lam has worked at Union Bancaire Privée and Credit Suisse Asset Management.

Dimensional Fund Advisors - Rune Sanbeck is set to join as head of institutional sales and marketing later this month, moving from BlackRock, where he was managing director and head of the Nordic region. Sanbeck joined BlackRock in 2006, when it was still trading as Barclays Global Investors.

RWC Partners - Peter Allwright and Stuart Frost have been hired from Threadneedle to manage absolute returns and currency funds. At RWC, Allwright and Frost will manage the RWC Strategic Reserve fund, as well as launch several other funds.

IPD - Peter Hobbs is to join as senior director and head of business development. Previously employed at RREEF, the real estate arm of Deutsche Asset Management, Hobbs will report to Laurent Ternisien, IPD's managing director.

State Street Global Markets - Raymond Pestana joins the EMEA Portfolio Solutions Group. As senior transition manager, he will report to managing director Rick Boomgaardt. Before joining State Street, Pestana was BNY Mellon's director of the   transition management team.
