EUROPE - Allianz Global Investors, Swiss & Global, KAS Bank, IVG, Europa Capital

Allianz Global Investors - Horst Eich, joint chief executive of Global Investors Deutschland and Global Investors KAG, left the company at the end of 2010 "by amicable agreement". During his time at the company, Eich was also chief executive of Allianz Global Investors Product Solutions and sat on the board of the German asset management association BVI. Thomas Wiesemann and James Dilworth retain their positions on the board and as joint chief executives.

KAS Bank - Günter Schuhbeck has been named head of depotbank services, as well as manager of KAS Bank's German office. He will have responsibility for all services offered as trustee and custodian by KAS Bank Germany. With 30 years of experience, he has previously worked for CACEIS Bank Germany, its predecessors HypoVereinsbank and Bayerische Vereinsbank.

IVG - Dr Thomas Beyerle has joined the management team of the corporate social responsibility & research department, where he will oversee the development and implementation of the firm's sustainability strategy. Beyerle joins from Aberdeen Group, where he was head of global research. He has previously worked for Dr Lübke Immobilien and was director of Dresdner Bank Real Estate Group, as well as head of research and consulting at the bank.

Europa Capital - Michael Abel has been appointed to focus on new acquisitions in Central Europe. He joins from JP Morgan Asset Management's European Property fund, where he focused on retail, office and logistics opportunities across Europe. Prior to this he worked for Lehman Brothers Real Estate Partners.

Swiss & Global Asset Management - Keith Rumbelow has been appointed head of UK sales, while Hugo Wheeler has also joined the UK distribution team. Rumbelow will focus on expanding UK client relationships with multi managers, fund of funds, insurance companies and wealth managers, joining from Marlborough Fund Managers with over 20 years experience as an investment professional. In the past, Rumbelow has also worked for Neptune and HSBC Asset Management. Wheeler, who joins from Highland Capital Partners, will report to Rumbelow and promote the firm's product range to UK investors. He has previously worked for Insight Investment and Fidelity International.
