Kommalpha - Jürgen Bader has been named partner at the consultancy, with responsibility for business development, as well as project and client management. Prior to his appointment, he was a member of the board overseeing Pensionskassen at German pension association aba.
Eurosif - Claudia Tober, chief executive of the Sustainable Investment Forum (FNG), has been elected vice-president of Eurosif. She joins president Giuseppe van der Helm, fellow vice-president Will Oulton and treasurer Davide Dal Maso in sitting on the forum's executive board. Tober joined Eurosif in 2009 as representative for the Germanic region.
Hedgebay - The secondary hedge fund market specialist has appointed Lindsey Clavel to lead the firm's European operations. As managing director for Europe, she will be responsible for determining the strategic direction and growth of the business, which she joined six years ago. While her principal focus will centre on the European business, she will also have responsibility for operations in MENA and Australasia. She replaces co-founder Elias Tueta, who will shift to an advisory role.
Invesco - Fredrik Cygnaeus has been appointed head of wholesale sales for the Nordic region. Based at the new office in Stockholm, he will be joining the asset manager on 16 August. He joins from Fidelity, where he worked for nine years as relationship director for the Nordic Region, covering both retail and institutional investors. He started his career at Skandia International.
AXA Investment Managers - Irshaad Ahmad has been appointed as head of the UK and the Nordic region, effective 28 June. He will be responsible for business development strategy and become a member of AXA IM's executive committee. Ahmad joins from Russell Investments, where he was most recently executive managing director of the UK and Global Retail division. Before then, he was president and managing director of Russell Investments in Canada.
Legg Mason - Eric Simonnet has joined as sales manager for the Benelux region. He will be in charge of sales and distribution of funds with third-party distributors, such as financial intermediaries, asset managers, funds of funds, banks and high-end distribution platforms in Luxembourg, Belgium and the Netherlands.
Princeton Financial Systems - Christian Küchler, who has been with the State Street-owned company for 11 years, has been promoted to head of professional services, sales and marketing. In his time at Princeton Financial, he has held a number of positions, including heading its professional services team for central Europe.
Catella - Lennart Schuss, vice-president at Catella, has been appointed to a new role as executive chairman of the board of Catella's Nordic corporate finance company, with the task of coordinating and developing the Nordic business operations. The new role means Schuss will relinquish the position of vice-president and leave group management. He takes up his new position on 1 July.
