GLOBAL - 300 Club, Mercer, Allianz Global Investors, HSBC Global Asset Management, Avoca Capital Holdings, ETF Securities, SAM

The 300 Club - Bob Maynard, CIO at the $12bn (€9.9bn) Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho (PERSI), is to join the club as its newest member. Before joining PERSI, he served as the deputy executive director for the Alaska Permanent Fund and assistant attorney general for the State of Alaska. He will be the first member of the 300 Club from North America. Other members include Saker Nusseibeh (Hermes Fund Managers), Zuhair Mohammed (Aon Hewitt), Amin Rajan (Create Research), Lars Dijkstra (Kempen Capital Management), Adriaan Ryder (QIC), Robert Talbut (Royal London Asset Management), Alan Brown (Schroders), Dylan Grice (Société Générale) and Yves Choueifaty (TOBAM).

Mercer - Jane Healy has been appointed a client relationship manager at the consultancy's outsourcing business. She joins from Polestar Pension Trustees, where she headed the in-house pensions team and was responsible for delivering the member administration service. Before then, she spent more than seven years at Whitbread.

Allianz Global Investors - Corinne Crawford has been appointed a director, assisting with the coverage of consultants in the UK. She joins the newly created European consultant relations group from M&G Investments, where she was a director of consultant relations. Before then, she spent six years at Fidelity Investments.
 
HSBC Global Asset Management - Julien Seetharamdoo has been appointed senior economist and investment strategist. He joins from Coutts Investment Services, where he worked as an investment strategist, with a focus on bond markets. Rabia Bhopal has also been appointed as an economist and investment strategist, joining from Standard & Poor's, where she spent 18 months working as an economist.

Avoca Capital Holdings - Darren Carter has been appointed a non-executive director, while Clayton Perry, currently head of business development, joins the board as an executive director. Carter is the former chief executive at KBC Financial Products and the current non-executive chairman at Peel Hunt. Perry was formerly head of global CLO business at Credit Suisse, joining Avoca in 2010.

ETF Securities - Former iShares executive Philippe Roset has been appointed head of Benelux sales. Before joining iShares, he was a supervisory officer at the Dutch Financial Markets Authority (AFM), where he was responsible for monitoring trading platforms and carrying out due diligence on foreign exchanges' activities.

SAM - The sustainability investment boutique has appointed Guido Giese as head of indexes. He will be responsible for the development of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index family. He joins from STOXX, where he was head of research and responsible for developing new index solutions.
