State Street Global Advisors - Joseline Hobson has been appointed director of institutional sales in France. In her new role, she will be responsible for strengthening relationships with existing clients and developing new client accounts in France, Spain and Portugal. Before joining SSgA, she worked at Deutsche Asset Management for six years in various positions, most recently as head of DB Advisors France. Before then, she spent 11 years working in CDC Marchés.
Pensions Trust - Adam Gregory has been appointed investment officer of the trust's investment team. He joins from Mercer, where he designed, monitored and implemented investment strategies. With a background as a pensions actuary, he has also advised schemes and employers on risk-mitigation strategies.
Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) - Kathleen Casey has been appointed non-executive chairman, succeeding Todd Groome following the expiry of his term. Casey served as a US Securities and Exchange commissioner from 2006 to 2011, and she is also a member of the District of Columbia and Virginia State bars.
HIG Capital - Ahmed Hamdani and Duncan Priston have joined the London team of Bayside Capital, the distressed debt and special situations affiliate of HIG. Hamdani joins from Trafalgar Asset Managers, where he managed a distressed credit fund. Priston joins from Strategic Value Partners, where he was a partner and head of European trading.
MFS Investment Management - Heiko Dahse and Karin Moritz have joined the institutional sales team. Dahse has been appointed managing director of Swiss institutional sales, while Moritz has been appointed director of German institutional business, joining from Vontobel.
HSBC Securities Services - Gina Slotosch has been appointed head of global custody product management. She joined HSBC in 2005 as head of business development for HSBC Securities Services in the German market. In 2010, she relocated to London and moved into fund services global product management.
Asset Owners Disclosure Project - Bob Litterman has been appointed to the board. He is currently chairman of risk at Kepos Capital and was former head of risk at Goldman Sachs, where he worked for more than 20 years. He is also a co-developer of the Black-Litterman Global Asset Allocation Model.
