Pramerica Investment Management – Ousmène Mandeng has been appointed managing director of Pramerica's Global Institutional Relations Group, focusing on expanding and developing relationships with sovereign wealth funds, central banks and other financial public sector institutions. He joins from UBS, where he was managing director and co-head of the Public Sector Group. Before then, he was head of the public sector investment advisory at Ashmore. He also held several roles at the International Monetary Fund, where he worked for more than eight years.
Dutch Ministry of Social Affairs – Marcelis Boereboom has been appointed director general for employment, effective 15 September. He is to succeed Maarten Camps, who has moved to the Ministry for Economic Affairs as secretary general. Currently, Boereboom is director general for long-term care at the Ministry of Health, Wellbeing and Sports.
MN – Puck Bossert has been appointed director of human resource management at the €90bn asset manager and pensions provider MN. She has been in similar jobs, as well as in communication roles, in the pharmaceutical and financial services industry.
Sacker & Partners – The UK law firm for pension schemes and pension scheme employers has promoted Vicky Carr to partner. Carr is a banking and finance specialist with more than 12 years' experience, who joined Sackers in 2011. She advises pension trustees and employers on in-specie contributions, contingent assets and asset-backed structures.
Janus Capital International – Alan Glendon has been appointed sales director for UK financial institutions for the EMEA business. He joins from Premier Asset Management, where he was head of UK discretionary sales. Before then, he was sales director at F&C Asset Management. He also worked at Investec Asset Management.
Baring Asset Management – Claire Fraser has been appointed head of marketing and communications. Fraser has been at Barings since October 2010, having joined as head of EMEA marketing before being promoted to the global role of head of distribution marketing. Before joining Barings, she worked at Insight Investment, Charles Stanley & Co and HSBC Asset Management.
BNY Mellon – Anil Dala has been appointed market manager within BNY Mellon's EMEA Treasury Services business. He joins from Pershing, a BNY Mellon company, where he was responsible for the development of business solutions for their wealth and adviser segments in the region. Before then, he held a number of roles at Barclays Wealth and Lloyds TSB.
Mirabaud Asset Management – Alexandre Mignot will join the team in Paris responsible for selling funds and management mandates. He will work alongside Thibault Amand, head of institutional sales. Mignot began his career in 2008 at Meeschaert Asset Management.
ING IM – Daniel Estaquio is to start as a senior hard currency portfolio manager on 22 July. Previously, Estaquio was director of investments of EMD fixed income sales at Oppenheimer & Co, and has also been part of ING IM's EMD team.
Jupiter – James Clunie has been appointed manager of the Jupiter Absolute Return fund. Clunie, who joined Jupiter from SWIP, will take over the £482m (€556m) fund from Philip Gibbs, who is to retire from fund management in October 2014.
Aviva Investors – Liam Spillane has joined the emerging market debt team as an emerging market debt currency portfolio manager. He will be based in London, reporting to Daniel James, head of global markets.
