FINLAND - Riitta Hallila, head of sales at Svenska Handelsbanken in Helsinki, has been announced as the IPE Scholar for 2004.
The scholarship enables Hallila to attend the AIMSE/Wharton Investment Institute at The Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania in January.
She was selected by IPE editor Fennell Betson and Joe McDevitt international director of AIMSE International, from a strong field of 30 applicants across 12 countries.
McDevitt comments: "We would like to offer our congratulations to Riita who came first in an outstanding group of candidates. We hope she gains full benefit from the excellent AIMSE/Wharton Investment Institute programme."
The IPE Scholar award incorporates the AIMSE/Wharton one-week programme including all classroom materials, meals and accommodation.
This highly intensive programme is designed for investment management sales executives who want to increase their marketing and finance knowledge.
The IPE Scholar will be one of only 45 attendees at the 2004 course - further details are available at www.aimse.org.
