Jean-Louis Wouters, the man involved in the transformation of the e560m VKG-CPM fund for doctors, dentists and pharmacists, has succeeded Karel Stroobants as president of the executive board at VKG.
A statement from the directors at VKG confirms Stroobants has taken up a role as counsellor to the board of directors at CPM-VKG. Stroobants was unavailable for comment but a spokesman said the move was from an operational to a strategic role.
“It is very clear that Karel Stroobants will remain active within the group and will continue to work in the areas in which he excels,” says the spokesman.
Wouters, who is a temporary replacement, will be supported by Carl Haeck, Roland Louis and Filip Torfs in the day-to-day running of AMONIS, the supplementary healthcare sector pension fund established last year by VKG.
Stroobants remains a member of the executive board at AMONIS Sicav and AMONIS Life, the insurance company the group is in the process of establishing.
