UK/GLOBAL – Credit Suisse Asset Management (CSAM) UK has appointed Peter Dellsperger as head of global equities products in London, but with supervision and responsibility for teams in London, New York, Tokyo and Zurich.

The position is a newly created one and Dellsperger moves from his position as representative director and president of Credit Suisse Trust and Banking Japan.

Dellsperger will be responsible for pulling together CSAM’s geographically diverse global equities resources and creating a coherent product line managed by an integrated team.

CSAM, with €315bn under management worldwide, says that it has created the new position to present a clear and consistent product line to both clients and consultants with the “explicit objective” of becoming the market leader in the global equity field.
