NETHERLANDS – The European Federation for Retirement Provision’s Marie-Christine Witteman has joined PricewaterhouseCoopers.
The EFRP’s secretary general Chris Verhaegen told IPE that Witteman had worked on the European Institutions for Occupational Retirement Provision 2005 report.
“She has been on the EFRP working party preparing the EIORP 2005 report on pan-European pension provision and she has now started a new job at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Amsterdam at the pensions, actuarial and insurance services group,” Verhaegen said.
Verhaegen added Witteman would likely be involved with the EFRP again in the future. PWC’s spokesman in Amsterdam, Meint Waterlander, was not available for comment.
The federation says updated EIORP proposal – unveiled last December - could lead to annual savings for the European pension fund industry of up to 10 billion euros.
