EUROPE / GERMANY - The Brussels-based Fédération Européenne des Fonds et Sociétés d'Investissement (FEFSI), the pan-European federation of investment managers associations and companies, has appointed Wolfgang Mansfeld as its new president.
Mansfeld replaces Kajsa Lindståhl, whose two-year stint in the rotating presidency is up.
Mansfeld, who represents the German investment managers association, BVI, will take up his two-year post with immediate effect. He was elected at FEFSI’s annual general meeting on 31 May.
John Fitzpatrick of Northern Trust Investor Services in Dublin was elected vice-president.
Mansfeld is currently on the board of directors of Frankfurt-based investment management group, Union-Fonds Holding, where he is specifically responsible for corporate marketing, IT and back-office operations.
At the BVI, he is chairman of the international affairs committee.
Elsewhere, LAFV, the Liechtenstein investment fund association, has joined FEFSI as its twenty-first member.
