UK – Hermes Pensions Management has appointed Rod Selkirk as head of private equity, replacing Robert Padgett who will take full retirement later this year. Selkirk, who has over 20 years experience in private equity, joins from Bridgepoint Capital, where he was managing director and member of the executive and investment committees.
Padgett has been with Hermes for over 15 years and has worked in most areas of its business, most recently specialising in private equity.
Hermes is a stand-alone pension fund manager that is wholly-owned by the BT Pension scheme. It currently has £45bn (€73.5bn) under management.
