IRELAND – The Irish Association of Pension Funds (IAPF) has appointed Nora Finn as its new chief executive. She joins the IAPF from Irish Cement where she has spent the last ten years as HR and pensions manager.
Finn, who takes up her post next week, replaces Des Crowther, who has left the association after five years to become chief executive of the Irish Institute of Purchases and Materials Management.
Says John Freely, chairman of the IAPF: “among other things, Finn will be responsible for further developing the strategy of the association and formulating its policy on pensions and retirement issues.”
Finn has worked with the IAPF on a number of occasions in the past, having chaired both its publications and website subcommittees. She is a qualified associate and fellow of the Irish and UK institute of pension managers.
