UK - Actuarial consulting firm Lane Clark & Peacock has named PricewaterhouseCoopers' David Everett as head of pensions research.
He takes over a role vacated by Francis Fernandes, who left the firm in August to join ABN Amro's new Life & Pensions Advisory group.
LCP said: "David joins LCP from PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was a senior manager, heading-up the technical support team in the pensions actuarial practice."
Everett is a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and the Pensions Management Institute, and has over 20 years experience in the pensions industry.
"David's knowledge encompasses many technical pensions issues and he brings valuable experience to LCP's research team," said senior partner Martin Slack.
"With the Pensions Bill due to pass into law, David's experience will ensure that LCP's actuarial teams are well placed to provide expert advice to our clients to guide them through the complex new requirements."
LCP currently has 54 partners and over 300 staff and is part of the Alexander Forbes Group.
