IRELAND – UniCredito Italiano’s asset management arm Pioneer Investments has named a new head of fixed income in Dublin, Raffaele Bertoni. He will report to Mauro Ratto.

Bertoni, 37, joined Pioneer in 2000. Ratto said: “Rafaele’s appointment completes the fixed income management structure in Dublin and we are delighted that he has accepted this challenging role.”

Bertoni takes over from Davide Cataldo, who is now director of investments in Italy.

Pioneer has more than 100 million euros in assets under management worldwide. It recently completed its previously announced 109.6 million euro acquisition of hedge fund company Momentum Group.
