GLOBAL - Russell Investment Group has unveiled the next generation of its web-based services for institutional clients.

It said both Russell Pension Navigator and ClientLINK now have “new features that make them more responsive to user preferences and customization”.

The Tacoma, Washington-based firm said the navigator is a web-based pension forecasting tool introduced last year while ClientLINK is an institutional client “extranet”.

"Russell Pension Navigator and ClientLINK represent dynamic channels for Russell to deliver its strategic advice and investment solutions to institutional clients," said Robert Blackwell, managing director of research and strategy.

"The latest generation allows our clients to take full advantage of the suite of strategic advisory services Russell offers, including proprietary technology, written research and professional resources to assist clients with liability management and asset allocation development."

The navigator product’s latest update will expand the range of scenarios and analyses clients can generate including. These include: frozen plans, different scenarios and a “more dynamic treatment of alternative asset classes and the addition of efficient frontiers”.

As for ClientLINK, enhancements include the ability to customize view and the provision providing quick access to account information, regulatory updates, market commentary and Russell's proprietary research.
